A Bainha de Copas surge em 2010 pela vontade da estratega de marcas Graça Martins, com a esperança de reduzir os índices de cinzentismo dos armários e de aumentar o índice de felicidade das pessoas. É assim que cria a sua roupa e acessórios, com cores, padrões e convidando ilustradores, designers e fotógrafos a fazerem parte da história.

Bainha de Copas believes that patterns, colors and tailored cuts have stories to tell. That's how we create outfits and accessories, by inviting illustrators, designers and photographers to be a part of the process of dressing up happy people.

バイニャ・デ・コパスは、2009年10月、リスボンにおいて、クローゼットの中の灰色を減らし、人々の幸せを増やすことを願ったグラサ・マルティンスの、ブランド戦略によってもたらされました。バイニャ・デ・コパスはパターン、色、そして仕立てには語るべき物語があると信じています。イラストレーター、デザイナー、フォトグラファーと共同し、私たちは人々を幸せにする服やアクセサリーを創り出しています。

Hoje, com 5 Coleções desenvolvidas in house (Mess is More; Happydemia; Overall Playsuits; Olívia e Branca de Neve; Bainhas de Palmo e Meio), e 4 Parcerias com ilustradores e designers (Fera uma Vez, com o Estúdio Fera da dupla criativa Sofia Martins e Pedro Lourenço; Play as You Work, com Maria Maria, designer e fashion stylist; Bainha de Espadas, com o designer gráfico Rui Morais, e a sua mãe, Clementina Morais; Bainhas de Rua, com Ana Nogueira, advogada, diretora de um colégio e fotógrafa do projeto Fotos de Rua), e o Japão como aposta de primeiro mercado internacional, a Bainha de Copas tem a sua missão definida: fazer de cada peça um gerador de bem-estar e felicidade. Porque, como acredita, pessoas que se sentem bem na sua segunda pele são pessoas mais felizes. E pessoas mais felizes vivem mais.

The idea of happiness through patterns and colors is explored in five collections developed in house (Mess is More; Happydemia; Overall Playsuits; Olive Oyl & Snow White) and four partnerships with illustrators and designers (Fera uma Vez, with Estúdio Fera, owned by the creative team Sofia Martins and Pedro Lourenço; Play as you work, with Maria Maria, designer and fashion stylist; Bainha de Espadas, with one of the greatest Portuguese brand designers, Rui Morais, and his mother, Clementina Morais; Bainhas de Rua, with Ana Nogueira, lawyer, managing director of a school and photographer of Fotos de Rua project). Today, with Japan as the fist international market that the brand is aiming at, Bainha de Copas has stiched its mission: making of each piece of cloth a generator of well being and happiness. Because, as Bainha de Copas believes, people that feel better in their second skin are happier. And happy people have two big advantages: they are beautiful and they live longer.

今日当社には、社内でつくられた5つのコレクション（メス・イズ・モア、ハッピーデミア、オーバーオール・プレイスーツ、オリビア・イ・ブランカ・デ・ネーブ、バーニャス・デ・パルモ・イ・メロ）とイラストレーターやデザイナーとの4つの共同コレクション（ソフィア・マルティンスとペドロ・ロレンソの2人のクリエータがつくる、エストゥディオ・フェラとのフェラ・ウマ・ベス、デザイナーであり、ファッションスタイリストであるマリア・マリアとのプレイ・アズ・ユー・ワーク、グラフィックデザイナーのルイ・モライスとその母、クレメンティーナ・モライスとのバイニャ・デ・エスパーダス、弁護士、大学学長、フォトシュ・デ・ルア　プロジェクトの写真家である、アナ・ノグェイラとのバイニャ・デ・ルア）があります。初めての国際市場としての日本に進出するにあたって、バイニャ・デ・コパスは、それぞれの商品が幸せをつくりだすこと目指しています。なぜならば、お分かりの通り、第二の皮膚に満足している人々は、より幸せな人々だからです。そして、幸せな人はより長く生き続けます。

In Portuguese, Bainha means hem or sheath, and Bainha de Copas has a phonetic twist with “Rainha de Copas”, the character Queen of Hearts from the inspiring Lewis Carroll Alice in wonderland book.

ポルトガル語で、バイニャは裾や鞘を意味します。そして、バイニャ・デ・コパスはルイス・キャロルの「不思議の国のアリス」に登場する、ハートの女王のポルトガル語訳「レイニャ・デ・コパス」をもじったものです。
